WHOLE Festival’s 8th edition brought together queer electronic music, performance, art and community in a temporary festival environment at Ferropolis, an open-air industrial museum and former mining site near Gräfenhainichen in Saxony-Anhalt. Set on a peninsula surrounded by Lake Gremmin and dominated by monumental mining machinery, the site combines multiple outdoor stages, forested areas, a beach and camping grounds approximately 1.5 hours south of Berlin.

The programme spans techno, house, bass and experimental electronic music, featuring artists and collectives from Berlin and international queer scenes. Alongside DJ sets and live performances, the festival includes installations, workshops, talks and participatory projects exploring identity, intimacy, dancefloor culture and alternative forms of collective space.

WHOLE’s multi-day format integrates music, camping, swimming and social spaces across the site, with dedicated areas for cruising, care, sober programming and community activities. The combination of large-scale outdoor production and Ferropolis’s distinctive industrial landscape creates an immersive environment in which music, art and community unfold across the festival grounds.
