Group exhibition featuring works by Albert Oehlen, Adam Pendleton, Pope.L and Amy Sillman exploring gesture, abstraction and systems of visual repetition across painting, drawing and time-based processes.
Albert Oehlen is known for expanding the language of painting through technological experimentation and process-driven abstraction. Adam Pendleton’s work spans painting, drawing and language-based compositions informed by his ongoing Black Dada project. Pope.L’s multidisciplinary practice examined performance, materiality and social structures through provocative and often absurdist forms. Amy Sillman works across painting, drawing and animation, exploring the relationship between abstraction, gesture and narrative.
